A is for Aden and Z is for Zanzabar

A is for Aden and Z is for Zanzibar... Now what is between? For the world wide classical era philatelist and stamp collector, a country specific philatelic survey is offered by the blog author, Jim Jackson, with two albums: Big Blue, aka Scott International Part 1 (checklists available), and Deep Blue, aka William Steiner's Stamp Album Web PDF pages. In addition, "Bud" offers commentary and a look at his completely filled Big Blue. Interested? So into the Blues...

A New Big Blue Blog is born!

Axel's "The Classics 1840-1940"
Into the Deep Blue
Great news for WW classical era collectors in general, and Big Blue 1840-1940 album users specifically: A new blog about filling those pages!

Axel, who lives in France, has started blogging about his newly acquired 1969 edition Big Blue.

The blog is called "The Classics 1840-1940", and the link is...

His Facebook group page is...

big blue a century of stamps 1840 - 1940

In Axel's words...

My approach will be to show the evolution of my collection and try to establish a contact between different active collectors of Scott's International Part 1 so a kind of Big Blue community might see the light where  everyone could be helped in completing it's goal by swapping  and selling his/hers stamps.

I've read the first entries, and I think it is going to be a good one.

Check it out!
